What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a method of diagnosis and treatment that works to improve the function of your body and to treat injury.

At this practice our practitioners work with a hands on manual approach. This usually involves movement of your joints and work on the surrounding tissues, such as muscles and ligaments.

The treatment will usually be in the form of soft tissue manipulation (massage) and articulation of the joints.

Conditions commonly treated include:

Back pain

Neck pain

Sciatica

Knee pain

Hip pain

Foot pain

Trapped nerves

Frozen shoulder

Tennis/Golfers elbow

Tendon injuries

Sports injuries

Symptoms from Arthritis

Sprains and strains

Muscular pain

This is not an exhaustive list of conditions. If you are unsure if we can help you, please speak to our receptionists who can advise.
